She worked specifically with special needs children during those ten years. Her philosophy regarding play and equipment is to utilize as many toys, equipment, chairs as possible which have not been adapted and appeals to every child Recently Mrs. Perry has become affiliated with a therapist owned private practice. This clinic provides services to children with developmental delay due to the complications of pre-maturity, medically fragile and children in public schools who have problems with learning academic skills. This affiliation provides a laboratory to explore what children like and how therapist use toys to achieve their goals and assist the classroom teacher with the acquisition of skills for academic learning. Learning and having fun provide an excellent partnership for success at school and on the playground.
